University Enrollment Preparation Course

For those who are in Japan with a visa (including those with family members in Japan or those with a spouse visa)

Special Features

Students can take the same university enrollment preparation courses as their family members.
Students can study in a level-appropriate way.
Students have classes Monday through Friday, four hours a day.

2nd Term July 1 to September 30
3rd Term October 1 to December 31
4th Term January 1 to March 31

Japanese Business Course

Special Features

  • Acquire practical knowledge for working in a Japanese corporation
  • Enhance one's abilities that were developed in the general Japanese courses, namely reading comprehension, listening, writing, and conversation
  • Deepen one's understanding of Japanese society and business manners
  • Access DBC's employment seminars that occur four time per year
  • Receive assistance for seeking employment

Conditions for Enrollment

  • Those who have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 or N1, or those who have scored over 250 points on the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)
    ※Consultation is required for those who do not meet these conditions.
  • This course is for those who strongly desire to find employment in Japan.


Regular Japanese Classes

Curriculum The class content follows the content of the General Japanese Classes.

Business Japanese Classes

Class Times

Every Friday
Morning Class students attend this class every Friday from 13:30 to 15:00.

Afternoon Class students attend this class every Friday from 10:00 to 11:30.

Theme Information
Business Conversation Practicing for interviews, learning business expressions, becoming comfortable with presentations, acquiring language for different business situations
Business Manners Learning fundamental knowledge with practice through many role plays, learning how to smoothly work within the company, and learning how to deal well with those outside of the company
Business Grammar Writing a resume/C.V., improving one's personal representation, making required documents for and after finding employment in Japan, and creating documents for within and for outside of the company
Vocabulary & Grammar Expanding one's vocabulary and grammar knowledge that is essential for understanding business documents, newspaper and news programs, including expanding one's knowledge of business katakana words
Japanese Business Situations and Current Topics Cultivating the ability to express one's self in various business situations and understanding the rules, history, and news that are indispensable for working with Japanese business people

Japanese Conversation Course

Special Features

Practice various expressions for various situations
Polish one's ability to express one's opinions about the news
